Buy a luxury piece without paying for it before you have seen it
Most people are uneasy about transferring thousands of dirhams for a handbag or a watch they have only seen in photographs. We are uneasy about sending a courier across the Emirates to a door where nobody intends to answer. The booking deposit solves both problems at once.
The four steps
- Choose your piece and add it to your bag.
- Pay the booking deposit at checkout by card. It is a small fraction of the price, not the full amount.
- We reserve the item in your name, take it out of stock, authenticate it and dispatch it to your address.
- Pay the remaining balance to the courier in cash or by card when the item is in your hands.
What the deposit costs
The deposit is a flat AED 300, whatever the piece costs. On a AED 14,500 handbag that is AED 300 paid online and AED 14,200 paid at your door. On a AED 4,330 pair of loafers it is the same AED 300.
The deposit is not an extra fee. It comes off the total. You never pay more than the listed price.
Inspect before you pay the balance
The courier waits while you open the box. Check the piece, the serial number, the box and the papers. If anything is not as described, refuse the delivery and your deposit is returned to the same card within 7 working days.
When the deposit is not returned
If you simply do not answer the door, or decline the item without a fault in it, the deposit covers our courier and handling costs and is not refunded. This is the whole point of it — it is what lets us offer cash on delivery on items worth tens of thousands of dirhams.
Prefer to pay in full online?
You can. Choose full payment at checkout and skip the door payment entirely. Some customers prefer it for the speed.
